PREPARATION
Precautions for fabric care before wash cycle
  1. Washer Capacity is 10.2 kg
  2. 8 kg is the recommended maximum weight of dry clothes
  3. Check all pockets to make sure that they are empty
    • Items such as clips, matches, pens, coins and keys can damage both your washer and your clothes.
  4. Close zippers, hooks, and drawstrings to prevent these items from snagging or tangling on other clothes.
  5. Pretreat heavily stained areas before washing.
    • Doing so will produce clean, stain-free results.
  6. Combine large and small items in a load. Load large items first.
  7. The washer can be fully loaded, but the drum should not be tightly packed with items.
    • The door of the washer should close easily
  8. Do not wash waterproof clothes.
    • This may cause abnormal vibration, or may cause the load to bounce, which could damage the tub.
  9. Check if there are any other foreign objects in the door seal and take extra care that clothes do not get caught there.
    • Foreign objects in the door seal may stain clothes, and water may leak if clothes get caught in the door seal.
  10. Wash underwear or small, light items in a laundry net.
    • Small, light items may get caught in the door seal, and a brassiere hook may damage other items or the tub.
  11. Brush heavy soil, dust or hair off fabrics before washing.
    • Laundry may not wash clean if there is dirt or sand on the fabrics, or they may damage due to particles rubbing against sheer fabrics.
  12. Wash blankets individually.
    • Washing more than one blanket together may produce unclean results due to tangling or an unbalanced load.
  13. Always separate fabrics according to their colors and wash them separately to prevent colors from running.
    • Fabrics may damage or become stained due to fabric dyes running or due to foreign objects transferring from one fabric to another.
  14. Please wash Comforters individually. GIANT MODELS can only handle single and double comforters. TITAN C can handle queen and king size comforter.
  15. Before loading the clothes make sure the clothes weigh only 8 kg.
  16. Close the door.

Note: Do not load shoes, stuff toys, bags and plastics.

Fabric care labels

Most articles of clothing feature fabric care labels that include instructions for proper care.

Sorting laundry

It is recommended that you sort laundry into similar loads that are washable in the same cycle.
Refer to the following chart for sorting clothes

Color Whites / Lights / Darks

For Breeze, limit the use to only 1 twin pack, as this detergent produces more suds compared to other brands. If you are washing 5kg of clothes or less, please reduce the amount of liquid detergent to prevent oversudsing.
  4.  For bleach, please use Zonrox Colorsafe only. If using Zonrox Colorsafe, kindly reduce the amount of liquid detergent to prevent oversudsing and place it together with the detergent in the liquid detergent compartment.
  5.  For fabric softener, always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Do not exceed the maximum fill line, as using too much may result in stained clothes. Never pour fabric softener directly onto the load or into the drum.
Step 4

Removal tips for common types of stains

  1. Oil and Grease Stains
    • Method: Sprinkle baking soda, cornstarch, or baby powder on the stain and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Gently brush off the powder, then apply dish soap and let it sit for a few minutes before washing with hot water.
    • Tip: Treat the stain as quickly as possible to prevent it from setting.
  2. Blood Stains
    • Method: Rinse the fabric with cold water as soon as possible. Soak the stain in cold water with a bit of salt or hydrogen peroxide for 15-30 minutes, then wash normally.
    • Tip: Never use hot water, as it can set the stain.
  3. Wine or Coffee Stains
    • Method: Blot the stain with a clean cloth. Apply a mixture of baking soda and water or white vinegar directly on the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then, wash the fabric with cool water.
    • Tip: Act fast to prevent the stain from setting.
  4. Ink Stains
    • Method: Dab the ink stain with rubbing alcohol using a cotton ball or cloth. Blot until the stain lifts, then rinse with cold water. Wash as usual.
    • Tip: Avoid rubbing, as it can spread the ink.
  5. Grass Stains
    • Method: Apply a solution of vinegar and water or rubbing alcohol directly onto the stain. Scrub gently and then wash the fabric with enzyme-based detergent.
    • Tip: Pre-treat the stain before washing for better results.
  6. Sweat Stains
    • Method: Mix baking soda with water to form a paste, apply it to the sweat stains, and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing.
    • Tip: White vinegar can also help in removing odor and buildup.
  7. Chocolate Stains
    • Method: Mix baking soda with water to form a paste, apply it to the sweat stains, and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing.
    • Tip: White vinegar can also help in removing odor and buildup.
  8. Gum Stains
    • Method: Harden the gum by placing the fabric in the freezer or applying ice cubes directly to the gum. Once it hardens, gently scrape it off using a blunt object like a butter knife. If any residue remains, apply rubbing alcohol or white vinegar, then wash the fabric.
    • Tip: Act quickly to prevent the gum from embedding deeper into the fabric.
  9. Deodorant Stains
    • Method: Mix baking soda and water to form a thick paste. Apply the paste to the deodorant stain and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing with warm water. Alternatively, rubbing alcohol or white vinegar can help remove buildup.
    • Tip: For white clothing, hydrogen peroxide can be effective on stubborn stains.
  10. Rust Stains
    • Method: Apply lemon juice directly to the rust stain, then sprinkle salt over the stain. Let it sit for a few hours in direct sunlight if possible, as this will help break down the rust. Afterward, rinse with water and wash as usual.
    • Tip: Use a commercial rust remover for tougher stains if needed.
  11. Yellowing (from age or sweat)
    • Method: Soak the yellowed fabric in a mixture of white vinegar and water for 30-60 minutes. For extra cleaning power, add hydrogen peroxide to the solution. Wash the fabric in warm water afterward.
    • Tip: For delicate fabrics, a gentle soak in oxygen bleach can restore brightness without damaging the material.
  12. Mud Stains
    • Method: Let the mud dry completely, then brush off as much as possible. Apply a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and water, and gently scrub the stain. Rinse with cool water, then wash as usual.
    • Tip: Avoid using hot water, as it can set the stain. Be patient with mud stains—they may require a second wash.
  13. Fruit Juice Stains
    • Method: Blot the stain with a clean cloth, then soak the fabric in cold water for about 30 minutes. Apply white vinegar or lemon juice, followed by washing in cold water.
    • Tip: The quicker you treat the stain, the easier it is to remove.
  14. Paint Stains (Water-based)
    • Method: Rinse the stain under cold water while it’s still wet. Apply laundry detergent or dish soap to the stain and scrub gently. Rinse and repeat if necessary before washing.
    • Tip: For oil-based paint, you may need to use paint thinner or turpentine to lift the stain before washing.
  15. Makeup Stains
    • Method: For lipstick or foundation stains, dab the area with rubbing alcohol or makeup remover. Blot with a clean cloth and repeat if necessary. Wash the fabric with regular detergent afterward.
    • Tip: Always blot, never rub, to prevent spreading the stain further.
  16. Glue or Adhesive Stains
    • Method: Soak the stain in warm water and gently scrape off the glue with a blunt tool. Apply acetone (nail polish remover) to the remaining glue, let it sit for a few minutes, then wash.
    • Tip: Always test acetone on a hidden part of the fabric first to ensure it doesn’t damage the material.
  17. Tomato Sauce Stains
    • Method: Scrape off excess sauce, then rinse the fabric with cold water. Apply dish soap or laundry detergent, scrub gently, and rinse again. For stubborn stains, soak in vinegar or lemon juice before washing.
    • Tip: Avoid letting tomato-based stains sit, as they can become harder to remove over time.
  18. Dye Transfer Stains
    • Method: Soak the stained fabric in oxygen bleach or a color-safe bleach solution for 1-2 hours, then wash in hot water. If the dye persists, repeat the process.
    • Tip: Avoid drying the fabric until the dye is completely removed, as heat can set the stain.
